BALANCE IS EVERYTHING: WORK, LOVE, LIFE, CHAOS, AND HAVING FUN.

For theSQUAD, it’s also about being grateful for the things that keep us grounded.

This month, our theme of BALANCE plays with poise, wobble, and laughter, and it literally came to life at the CROWN GAMES 2025.

Part of a wider three-day conference experience, we devised this special day to bring teams together, to help them connect, to share in the fun, and to test themselves in new ways.

The most memorable team experiences strike a fine balance: between laughter and focus, between competition and collaboration, between the individual and the greater whole.

That spirit was on full display as at the Old Parks Sports Club as participants celebrated creativity, camaraderie, and the joy of working (and playing) as one.

At the heart of the team building event was a high-energy digital adventure where each team was armed with a tablet and had to find caches, complete challenges, and conquer objectives to move forward.

The goal? Be the first team over the finish line with the most accumulated points.

THE HUNT INCLUDED:

• Local content based around landmarks, fun facts, and interesting features
• Photo and video challenges that sparked creativity and laughter
• Multi-choice and timed questions, clever clues, and problem-solving tasks that demanded collaboration
• Bespoke content tailored for the client, ensuring every challenge tied back to the bigger picture

All of this created the perfect foundation for the day’s action-packed activities.

Food trucks lined the field to fuel hungry contestants, medals rewarded the best teams, and everywhere you looked there were smiles, encouragement, and that unmistakable Crown energy.

INSPIRED BY PEOPLE

The Games weren’t just about winning. They were about people, reminding everyone that behind every product, service, or initiative are human needs, human strengths, and human connections.

EMPOWERING THE FUTURE

Just as Crown’s “4.0” journey represents growth and continuous improvement, the Games highlighted how learning, agility, and fresh thinking empower teams to go further together.

HEARTFELT CONNECTION

What stood out most was the generosity, passion, and commitment that people showed each other.

A big shout-out goes to Beyond Teambuilding, who provided expert facilitators and the imaginative equipment that made each challenge possible. And to Circle Forward, with Dillon Jeary leading as MC and managing the tech, for keeping the energy high and the flow seamless. Together, they proved that the sum of the whole really is greater than its individual pieces.

We loved putting together this awesome celebration of teamwork – it was an authentic and unforgettable reminder of the joy of balance and collaboration.
