COCKTAIL ICEBREAKER

The event kicked off with an engaging twist. Mixologist Alex Fahrenheim from Just Short led a masterclass icebreaker where guests participated in a cocktail-making demonstration. This interactive session was a delightful start to the evening, followed by the MFRF guests teaming up to compete to see who could create the best cocktail! We loved helping the guests to engage in such a unique and fun way.

CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENTS

The awards ceremony began with a tribute to employees who have demonstrated remarkable resilience and compliance in their respective fields. This recognition set the tone for an evening, honouring accomplishments and celebrating the the hard work being done behind the scenes.

MUSICAL HIGHLIGHT: MARIECHAN

A standout moment of the evening was the performance by singer Mariechan, accompanied by her band. Her voice, filled with emotion, added a layer of elegance to the event. Her style and performance were an embodiment of the event’s theme, ‘Shine Your Light’, reflecting the excellence the Naledi Awards stand for.

CREATIVE MINDS AT WORK

The event also shone a light on the importance of how theSQUAD uses creativity in our event planning. Quoting Stephen R. Covey, “The key to creativity is to begin with the end in mind,” and we couldn’t have done it without our fabulous crew for bringing this vision to life. Thanks to theSQUAD team, including Robyn, Sian, and Nozi.

BEHIND THE SCENES: THE MAKING OF MAGIC

A look behind the scenes revealed the transformation of the venue at 10 Bompas, with special mentions of Natalie from The Creative Lab for design, Billy van der Merwe and Solid Rock for technical aspects, and the event venue.
